I live way up in the Northwest, about a mile from the water. I have been a heavy equipment mechanic and metal worker for 30 years, I'm beat! I need to switch to a full time Art art career due to slowly changing into a physical wreck. I have never attended any art class, college, or school, besides the school of hard knocks! I have been drawing since grade school, and changed to painting over the years. I have experimented with many different medium over the years. Part of my work includes photography, although I don't claim to be a photographer, and go by the name D.F. forkelheimer as such....... I paint almost exclusively in acrylics, and tend to take a long time finishing my paintings, sometimes an hour or two after coming home from work is all I can get done... Many of my works were compiled in the 10 years I spent in northern Michigan. I am very eclectic in my interests, in the art field. I will add to my gallery as time permits, and hope to have new works soon. A lot of my work is very time consuming, as you can probably see.

Raised in Spanaway, Washington, Williams developed an interest in drawing at an early age in combination with loving rural America and antiques he began to form his style. Starting with old barns, and houses, in pen and ink, he refined his drawing skills, and then began painting.
After high school, Craig developed itchy feet, and hit the road. He traveled the northern tier via hitchhiking, freight trains, and even by car. He ended up in mid-Michigan, where he met and married his wife of thirty years, Sally. Now a long time Sequim resident,  Craig has made his living over the years as a carpenter, heavy equipment mechanic, and welder. He has no formal art training and continues to be self taught, but brings with him an love and understanding of antiques and all things mechanical, that shows in the detail of his work. Because of the support of his wife, Sally, and two daughters, Amber and Ashley, he is quickly moving towards hi dream of becoming a full-time artist.
